Apple and Intel Sitting in a Tree

In case you don’t know, Apple has announced they’re going to start using Intel processors in their machines, and will completely convert by mid-2007. Wow. I assume they’re going to use IA-64. I wonder what all the Mac, uh, aficionados, have to say.

I think it’ll be a good move for Apple, as does John Dvorak, who predicted the move some time ago.

But I still don’t think OS X is that great.
