Making a Difference, One Site at a Time

Sacramento: thanks for bringing it for game two. It made for a suspenseful game.

Well, as long as no one’s going to read this blog, I thought I could at least help others with their Websites. This week I noticed a JavaScript problem with Mark Pilgrim‘s site, and I emailed him about it. He actually emailed me back! He said something very English, like “Bugger, I think I know what the problem is. Cheers!” It makes me feel good that he answers the emails of the common bloggers. Then, I emailed the guys at The Lonely Island about a broken link, and they emailed me back and fixed the link. Not that I think Ardy is reading the emails, but still!

It reminds me of when, on Election Day 2004, I noticed that the New York Times had listed Ralph Nader as running for the Green Party. I emailed NYT and told them that he was an independant, and though they didn’t respond to my message, the listing was fixed within an hour.

I goes to show that anyone, even you, dear reader, can make a difference.

And now, the videos of the day: Laser Fart.

You’re a good man, Matthew. A good man. Did you know that in the animated series by Disney, Gargoyles, 16 of the voice cast also appeared in Star Trek movies, tv shows, or videogames.?

Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks
