A for Vendetta, F for Furious
The other day I saw V for Vendetta. We got to the theatre in time to see all the previews. One of which was for The Faster and the Furious-est. Please. Why won’t that series die? The movie is set in Tokyo, but the main character is American. Everyone else is Japanese, except, of course, for the love interest. Can’t have an interracial romance, can we?
On to V. The plot and dialogue were good, and it had some nifty fight sequences. Natalie Portman, even with short hair, is still hot, although her accent threw me at first. Although the movie is set in near-future England, it could easily be very-near-future America. V was both entertainment and warning.
